The International Day of the Midwife provided a valuable opportunity for the hospital’s midwives to share the current best practices and challenges in midwifery and highlight the role of the midwife as the expert in normal birth. The hospital’s midwives and hospital administration staff also led a ‘walk’ from Corniche Hospital to Abu Dhabi Corniche on the day to promote the theme of the International Day of Midwife -‘The world needs midwives now more than ever’.
