Mas'aool Town Hall Meeting

10 September, 2012: The 4th Mas’aool Initiative the patient and family town hall meeting was a big success. Over 75 patients and family members attended the 2-hour session at Corniche Hospital’s outpatient waiting area where presentations about SEHA, Corniche Hospital, follow up from the last Mas’aool events and future improvement plans at the hospital were presented. 

The interactive town hall meeting saw several Corniche Hospital’s patients appreciating the quality of care and experience they receive at the hospital. The feedback came in the form of compliments on the hospital’s doctors, midwives and nurses. The patients also appreciated the facility enhancement initiatives and the clean and welcoming environment. 

The patients also found the idea of the Mas’aool platform very valuable to provide feedback and interact directly with the administration. They welcomed more such exchanges. 

On the other hand, the patients also expressed concern on the lack of private rooms, waiting period and triage process in Urgent Care department. In turn, the Corniche Hospital management expressed their commitment to quality care and positive patient experience and promised to address the challenges.
